I sing the relatively small role of Godvino in this complete recording of Aroldo. Neil Schicoff and Carol Vaness lead a strong cast under the incisive direction of Fabio Luisi.

This was recorded in the wonderful acoustics of the Leeds Town Hall during a run of performances for Opera North. It was truly a labour of love for all of us and there was a extraordinary atmosphere of concerntration and committment from singers orchestra and production team. I believe that this is reflected in the results. I was proud to be part of this. Click here to play.

This was recorded shortly after a highly successful run of performances at the Colesium. We all strove to capture the sense of a real performance. David Parry conducts the orchersta and chorus of English National Opera and I am again, surrounded by wonderful colleagues, Alan Opie, Peter Rose and Susan Patterson. Click here to play.

This recording came out almost at exactly the same time as a new recording for EMI under Plasson. We received some very favourable reviews, particularly in the BBC music magazine. I was proud to be part of this project and I am a big fan of the Chandos sound. David Parry is in charge of the Philharmonia and there is a wonderful Carmen from Patricia Bardon and a swaggering Escamillo from Gary Magee. Click here to play.

Michael Sch¯nwandt conducted this live performance in the ThÈatre des Champs-…lysÈes. For those of you who may not know this piece, there are some real hidden gems to discover. There are some things that one would like to have had the chance to redo but I believe that this disc is well worth exploring. Click here to play.

Magnificat I sing on only one track here, a haunting setting of the Panis Angelicus. The rest of the album contains some beautiful settings of Latin Motet for choir. It is a lovely disc.
